Our heart is to create an atmosphere where everyone feels seen, loved, and empowered to walk in purpose.
Statement of Faith Our Beliefs
At the evdps ministry, we believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God. We affirm that there is One God, eternally existent in Three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ was born from the Virgin Mary and that he died, was buried, and rose again. We hold that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. Additionally, we believe in water baptism, where individuals are fully submerged in water in the name of Jesus, as stated in Acts 2:38. We also recognize the baptism in the Holy Spirit, as described in Acts 2:4, which is given to believers who ask for it. Finally, we believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.
Our Mission
Our mission at the evdps ministry is to preach and teach the full gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, serving as a light to a lost and dying generation and proclaiming salvation in Christ.
Standing on Romans 12:1-2, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Our mission is to build strong individuals, strong families, strong communities, and strong churches. It is important that we, through the evdps ministry, are able to help the whole person both naturally and spiritually.
Our Vision
Our vision at the evdps ministry is that many will be saved through the work of the ministry and through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe in holiness as a means to set an example for those we are trying to reach. As an active church body, we take the word of God seriously while we wait for our building. Our prayer is to establish our own facility for worship and for teaching the word of God. Additionally, we aim to create a safe haven for our childcare intervention program, which assists families who are unable to afford childcare, and to establish a Christian Academy Performing Arts School that helps our youth discover their gifts and talents for a successful life, contributing to the upbuilding of the Kingdom of God. We also envision a Christian HBCU and the development of International Ministries, along with Christian Counseling & Life Coaching that focuses on the whole person. This facility will be off-site and will include a Life Center that offers services for the homeless, such as a food pantry, education and training programs, resources, and our We Win program targeting high school students with cognitive learning disabilities to ensure their success in society, as well as support for college students.
